Ticket FAQs

  • How do PDF Smartphone / Print @ Home tickets work?

Supporters who have purchased a ticket and selected Smartphone / Print @ Home for the fulfilment option will be sent a confirmation email with their ticket attached as a PDF file.

This ticket can then be opened on your smart phone and scanned through the turnstile. Alternatively, this ticket can be printed off.

Your PDF ticket contains important information such as your ticket details such as stand, area and seats (if applicable), entrance points and ticket QR code.

  • How to use my PDF Smartphone / Print @ Home ticket on a smart phone?

Before arriving at the stadium please ensure your smart phone is fully charged. If you anticipate your phone may not have enough charge, we suggest you print out your tickets before leaving for the stadium. Your phone does not need to be connected to the internet to open your PDF but we do recommend this.

Please allow yourself plenty of time to enter the stadium and find your standing / seating position.

When approaching the turnstiles please ensure your brightness is turned up and you have zoomed in on your QR Code so it fits between the edges of your screen.

Insert your phone into the scanner with the screen and QR Code facing upwards.

When you hear the turnstile buzz, please ensure you push to enter.

    PLEASE NOTE

    1) Smartphone / Print @ Home tickets should not be duplicated and only the first scanned ticket will be allowed entry.

    2) If you have junior tickets on your email we suggest allowing them to enter in front of you as you scan them in.

    3) If you have all tickets on one mobile phone you may need to pass your phone between your group. You can also send these tickets to your group before attending the game, using the 'My Tickets' function to forward your tickets.

    4) The 'mouth' of the turnstile scanner is 10cm across and 4cm in height, your smart phone must fit in this to succesfully scan your ticket.

    5) If your phone is cracked or uses a dark, security screen protector you will need to print your tickets before coming to the ground.

  • How to use my PDF Smartphone / Print @ Home ticket if I need to print it out?

Before arriving at the stadium please ensure you have printed your ticket out. This needs to be done on plain A4 paper and not reduced in size.

Please allow yourself plenty of time to enter the stadium and find your standing / seating position.

Your ticket does not need to be printed off in colour but the QR Code on the ticket needs to be clear, not impeded or smudged.

Fold your ticket vertically along the dotted line and insert the QR Code into the scanner facing upwards.

When you hear the turnstile buzz, please ensure you push to enter.

    PLEASE NOTE

    1) PDF tickets should not be duplicated and only the first scanned ticket will be allowed entry.

    2) The 'mouth' of the turnstile scanner is 10cm across and 4cm in height, your printed ticket must fit in this when folded in half to succesfully scan your ticket.

  • I have printed my ticket off, but I have left it at home, what can I do?

If you have access to your emails on your smart phone you can still use this version despite already printing this off. Please note only the first scanned ticket will be allowed entry.

If you do not have access to a smart phone, please contact the Ticket Office as soon as you can.

  • What if I don't have a smart phone?

You can also print your PDF tickets off. If printing your ticket please ensure that your ticket is printed clearly on A4 paper and is not reduced in size. The ticket does not need to be printed in colour but the QR Code should be clear to allow the ticket to be scanned.

Please note PDF tickets should not be duplicated and only the first scanned ticket will be allowed entry.

  • Can I used a tablet or Ipad?

The 'mouth' of the turnstile scanner is 10cm across and 4cm in height, your QR Code must fit in this when presented on a smartphone screen to succesfully scan your ticket. Due to this we do not recommend the use of tablets or Ipads.

  • My phone screen is cracked can I still use this on the turnstile?

If your phone screen is cracked we recommend printing your ticket out instead as the scanner needs a clear read of the QR code to allow access.

  • My phone screen has a dark, security screen protector can I still use this on the turnstile?

If your phone screen is covered by a dark, securtiy screen protector we recommend printing your ticket out instead as the scanner needs a clear read of the QR code to allow access.

  • What if I don't have a printer?

Your ticket can be used on a smart phone. Simply open your PDF from your email to scan your ticket.

    PLEASE NOTE

    1) PDF tickets should not be duplicated and only the first scanned ticket will be allowed entry.
